Choose the Solar Light Company to Find an Analog Sensor That Best Meets Your Needs

Many applications require that sensors be located outdoors or in a remote location that may be inaccessible. Here at the Solar Light Company, we have over 130 sensor models to choose from ranging from UV to Visible to IR that will prove ideal for these types of situations.

In addition to the various wavelengths, there are models to choose from based on the system interface. Almost all models we have in our inventory are available with the following interfaces:

  1. Extra-Low power consumption for weather station mounting.
  2. Long distance remote locations up to 300’ away.
  3. Nearby measurements up to 50’ away.

Right now, some of the analog sensors that we have available include:

  1. PMA1110 – which is a UVA sensor that provides both accurate and fast irradiance measurements, and has a spectral response that covers the 320 to 400nm range.
  2. PMA1101 – a UVB sensor that provides accurate measurements of biologically weighted UV from sunlight or artificial light sources.
  3. PMA1107 – a UVA+ UVB sensor that offers the accurate measurements of non-weighted UVB+ UVA ultraviolet radiation from artificial light sources or sunlight.

We also have visible sensors in our inventory such as our PMA1121 and PMA1123, and various infrared and full spectrum sensors. While we certainly have a lot of sensors in our inventory that might prove ideal for your needs, you will be pleased to know that we can make a “PMA2180” custom sensor that has virtually any bandwidth or wavelength. Last, but not least, if you’d rather opt for the convenience of a hand-held meter with a digital sensor instead, we have plenty of those available, as well. We recognize that the needs of every individual and business are different, so we have no issue customizing sensors.

At the Solar Light Company, we take pride in offering products that our customers can use to find innovative solutions to problems and/or make scientific breakthroughs. Whether you are in the market for an analog sensor, hand-held meter with a digital UV sensor, or radiometer, we have everything you need and more, at the Solar Light Company.
