What We Plan to Contribute to the 2015 Sunscreen Symposium

Sunburn is not the relaxing part of the beach that people daydream about. That’s why sunscreen is so important. Nothing spoils a vacation quite like potential for skin cancer. Cosmetic chemists understand the need for protection against the dangerous rays of the sun. We’ve discovered, through years of research, the hazardous effects of prolonged exposure to solar radiation, and we now do everything in our power to provide solutions to this problem, and the applicable science has only improved throughout the years.

That is the reason that the Florida Society of Cosmetic Chemists presents a sunscreen symposium biannually, with specialists from all over the world, in attendance. This symposium discusses innovations in sunscreen, as well as different, safer and, sometimes, cheaper ways to protect individuals from the dangers of the beautiful, yet potentially dangerous, Florida sunshine. We’re going to be there, and here’s how we contribute to events such as these:

We Build Solar Simulators for In-Vitro and In-Vivo Testing of Sunscreens. Our solar simulators are not your everyday light source. These comprehensive simulators very closely imitate the light that the sun produces. Through creating this light, we can artificially discern the strength of materials and cosmetics designed to provide protection from solar radiation.

We’re Experts in SPF Testing Equipment. We’re experts in SPF testing equipment through our state-of-the-art SPF-290AS SPF Analyzer, which effectively tests sunscreen efficacy. This machine sets the standard for other SPF analyzers worldwide. It allows for low-cost in-vitro analysis of liquids, lotions, creams, gels, powders, emulsions, textiles, sprays and more.

This is an extremely accurate product, offering results which show a high correlation with in-vivo testing, or testing done on living subjects. The SPF-290AS provides a good guideline for cosmetic chemists.

We Conduct UPF Evaluation of Fabrics as well. We don’t just limit ourselves to sunscreens. We also want to help our clientele create fabrics that effectively keep out solar radiation. This works for textiles of all kinds, including UPF clothing as well as building materials like canvas for awnings. We want to make sure that products are keeping out the solar radiation from sunlight.

Our large base of clientele speaks for itself. In our few short decades of life our company has brought in around 15,000 customers throughout the world. Our clients produce ophthalmic supplies, cosmetics, building materials, skin protection products, and even products related to naval and army research. All over the world organizations trust the proven quality of our OEM products. Got questions? Call us nationwide at 215.517.8700 or e-mail us at [email protected].
