Materials Testing Hardware
Solar Simulators produce solar UV radiation in the 290-400nm range and can quickly be configured by the user to provide UVA only, UVB only, UVA+B, or full spectrum sunlight optionally. Models are available from 150W / 0.8″ (2cm) to 1000W / 6″ (15.25 cm.) These precision research-grade instruments are specifically designed to comply with laboratory standards such as ASTM, IEC, and ISO. Kits come complete with everything required to begin testing immediately, including Solar Simulators, Power Supplies, Automatic Dose Controllers, NIST-Traceable PMA-Series Sensors, safety glasses, and other related accessories.
OVERVIEW
These precision research-grade instruments are specifically designed to comply with laboratory standards such as ASTM, IEC, and ISO. By eliminating the visible and infrared light from its output, UV levels 20-30 times stronger than tropical sun can be produced without the thermal component associated with these high levels of light. This is ideal for measuring the damaging effects of UV during materials testing. Everything you need to begin testing immediately is included in the kit – the 16S-Series Simulator, DCS-2 Automatic Dose Controller, NIST-traceable PMA-Series UVA+B Sensor, safety glasses, and other accessories.
