Testing Consumables
Solar Light offers consumables for SPF and other testing requirements. These consumables include high quality Molded and Sandblasted PMMA Plates, Pre-Analyzed and Certified SPF and UVA Sunscreen Standards, Disposable Hypoallergenic Pads, and long-life spare Xe Lamps for use with our state of the art Solar Simulators.
This OEM Xe Replacement Lamp is designed to work with current Solar Light 16-Series 150W Solar Simulators, as well as legacy 12S, 14S, 15S, and 601-150 Series units. Its proprietary design ensures a high performance spectral output similar to the suns, with long life (estimated at 900-1000 hours typically.) When handling the bulb during replacement procedure, always wear safety glasses, and take appropriate precautions as outlined in our instructional video.
Solar Light’s Sandblasted PMMA plates are of the highest quality in the industry. Ra=5 micron surface per ISO. Sold in packages of 200 plates.
Solar Lights Molded PMMA Plates are the highest quality in the industry. Ra=5 micron surface per ISO, Sa=6 micron, 50.3mm X 50.3mm in size. Each box contains 200 plates.
The P2 SPF 14–17 Reference Standard is FDA, ISO 24442, ISO 24444 and ISO 23675 compliant. Standards are tested and certified for accuracy. Available in 1 oz.
The S1 UVA Reference Standard is ISO 24442 compliant for JCIA only. Standards are tested and certified for accuracy. Available in 1 oz.
The S2 UVA Reference Standard is ISO 24442, ISO 24443 and ISO 23698 compliant. Standards are tested and certified for accuracy. Available in 1 oz.

Solar Light’s Disposable Hypoallergenic are designed specifically for use with our Model 601 Multiport® SPF Testing Solar Simulator, allowing accurate, safe placement of the unit’s 6 separate liquid light guides onto the subject’s skin. The pads ensure that the guides can be placed in precisely the same spot, regardless of whether the subject moves.
