Accelerated Indoor Light Testing
Solar Light Company, LLC provides Accelerated Indoor Light Testing services for indoor exposure of items such as medical packaging and disposables, plastics (including vinyls, PE, ABS, acrylics, polycarbonates, PET, HIPS, and other synthetic materials,) paints, coatings, textiles, inks, dyes, papers (including cardboards and wallpapers,) and any other materials which are subject to degradation inside. Our state of the art laboratory uses fluorescent sources of several types, depending on the customer’s unique requirements. In many cases, we can expose samples to a year’s worth of interior lighting conditions in only a few days, objectively determining how a material reacts to those long term lighting conditions.

Accelerated Outdoor UV / Sun Fade Testing
Solar Light Company, LLC provides Accelerated Outdoor UV Testing services for outdoor exposure of plastics (including vinyls, PE, ABS, acrylics, polycarbonates, PET, HIPS, and other synthetic materials,) paints, coatings, textiles, inks, dyes, papers (including cardboards and wallpapers,) and any other materials which are subject to degradation outside. Our state of the art laboratory uses either xenon arc sources or fluorescent sources of several types, depending on the customer’s unique requirements. In most cases, we can expose samples to a year’s worth of sunlight within a week, objectively determining the sample material’s reaction.

Model 601 Multiport® SPF Testing 6 Output Solar Simulator
Solar Light’s advanced Model 601 Multiport® SPF Testing Solar Simulator is the industry standard for high throughput SPF testing and dermatological studies. It produces UVA or UVA+B (290-400nm) from its 6 individual 8mm square outputs, each of which can be controlled separately. Up to 6 tests can be performed simultaneously in a short period of time, dramatically increasing lab productivity. The 601 is fully compliant with the latest ISO, FDA, JCIA, and COLIPA spectral irradiance standards.

Model PMA1101 Analog Biologically-Weighted Erythema UVB Sensor
Solar Light’s Model PMA1101 Analog Biologically-Weighted Erythema UVB Sensor provides an accurate measurement of SUV radiation (also known as “sunburning UV”) from sunlight or artificial light sources.
-
Model PMA1106 Analog Non-Weighted UVB Sensor
Solar Light’s Model PMA1106 Analog Non-Weighted UVB Sensor provides an accurate measurement of UVB ultraviolet radiation from sunlight or artificial light sources.
-
Model PMA1107 Analog Non-Weighted UVA+B Sensor
Solar Lights Model PMA1107 Analog Non-Weighted UVA+B Sensor provides an accurate measurement of non-weighted UVA+B ultraviolet radiation from sunlight or artificial light sources. The detector has angular response very close to an ideal cosine function (Lambertian response,) making it suitable for measurements of diffuse radiation or radiation generated by extended sources. Several packages are available for different types of environments, including standard, low profile, weatherproof, and waterproof.
